Our team had our first victory on 20th August 2010 against ITE Simei. Both teams played well and ACJC ultimately won with the score of 4-2. The match was a highly competitive one and both teams did well to recover from a goal down. There were improvements in our team’s defense line and the first half team showed good team spirit. Also, the second half team displayed tenacity, one of our school values, to come back from a one-goal deficit and eventually win the game. However, we still have much more to improve on and they are mainly:
· Keeping our shape as a whole.
As the opposing team is attacking from the left flank, for example, the team should compact towards the left.
· Individual Defending.
When we are marking opposing players, we should position ourselves beside or in front of the player so we can intercept passes. If we find ourselves behind the opposing player, we must not allow him to turn.
· Not to be too individualistic.
· Throw Ins
